Participant information

What is this study about?

We are asking research mathematicians how they use AI and how they think its use in mathematics should be governed. The results will be a snapshot of community norms that we hope to repeat over time.

What will I be asked to do?

First, verify that you are a researcher, either with ORCID or, if that does not work for you, by a manual review by an independent moderator. Then answer a short survey (about 8 minutes), react to statements written by other participants, and optionally rank and approve proposals.

Is it anonymous?

Yes. Verification and the survey are separate, the moderator who handles manual reviews is independent of the research team, and a blind signature means your answers cannot be linked to your identity. See the privacy policy for details.

Do I have to take part?

No. Participation is voluntary, you can skip any question, and you can withdraw your answers at any time during your session.

Who is running the study?
